Visa fees by destination
Malaysia visa fees by nationality
Malaysia sets visitor visa fees by nationality. The official schedule lists RM50 for Indian citizens, RM30 for Chinese citizens, RM20 for Bangladeshi, Nepali and Pakistani citizens, and RM6 for US citizens. A visa-required nationality not listed pays RM20 Source 1. Indian and Chinese tourists were exempt from the ordinary single-entry visa requirement through 31 December 2026 under the rule published by Immigration Malaysia Source 2,Source 3. Check nationality eligibility before paying.
Nationality-based fee table
Malaysia's Immigration Department uses a nationality schedule for single and multiple-entry visas. Countries not named in the table pay RM20 when a visa is required Source 1.
2026 exemptions
Immigration Malaysia stated that Indian and Chinese citizens were exempt from the tourist single-entry visa requirement through 31 December 2026. The exemption applies under the published conditions, not to every purpose of travel Source 2,Source 3.
Visa types
A single-entry visa is normally valid for one entry within three months of issue. Multiple-entry visas can be issued for business or government matters for a period between three and 12 months, with entry conditions stated by Immigration Malaysia Source 4.
Before paying
