Vietnam e-Visa fees
Vietnam charges US$25 for a single-entry e-Visa and US$50 for a multiple-entry e-Visa Source 1. The official Immigration Department portal showed these amounts on 19 October 2026. An e-Visa can be valid for up to 90 days Source 1. The application fee is paid through the government portal and is not refunded if the visa is not granted Source 1. Official e-Visa fee table
Vietnam's Immigration Department lists two e-Visa charges. The single-entry option costs US$25 and the multiple-entry option costs US$50 Source 1.
Eligibility
The official portal accepts applications from foreign nationals outside Vietnam who hold a valid passport or international travel document and are not suspended from entry under Vietnamese law Source 1.
The e-Visa is not the route for the official categories listed in Article 8 of the immigration law. Those applicants use the inviting organisation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs process Source 1.
Payment and refund
Payment goes through the portal's electronic gateway after the form is completed. The official site states that the fee is not refunded when a visa is not granted Source 1.
Use the application code to check the result on the same government site. Do not pay an unrelated application site Source 1.
Border gates
An e-Visa holder must enter and leave through a border gate designated by the government for e-Visa use. Check the current list before booking a route, since not every crossing is included Source 1,Source 2.
